ECD is very useful software for Electronic learning students & Electronic technicians. It contains over 65,000 Data sheets including Transistors, ICs and Diodes….etc. and also it includes Electronic Calculation part. That category contains Resistor Color Code, Inductor Color Code, Voltage Divider Calculation, Frequency Calculations and many more.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

• WIN95 and higher
• Pentium 2, 133 MHz or higher
• 32 MB of on-board RAM
• Internet Explorer 4 or higher
• CD-ROM drive
• 25 MB free space on hard disk

This CD-ROM also contains an installation file for 'Adobe Reader'. For some information on the CD-ROM this program is required.

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

Before you install ECD, close all Windows application programs. To install ECD on your computer, click “INSTALL” tab on the splash screen. SETUP will ask you for an installation path, which should be contained on a hard disk drive. The installation requires approximately 25 MB free storage space on the selected disk drive. SETUP automatically handles all other functions.

WINDOWS VISTA USERS

Before installing ECD, it is essential to switch off the user account control. Before installing the product, please follow these steps:

1. Click on Start, Settings, User Accounts and Parental Control, User Accounts, Switch on/Switch off User Accounts If necessary, remove the tick symbol and click OK. The PC has to be restarted at this point.

2. Once the PC is running again, insert the original Electronic Components Database CD-ROM. Launch setup.exe and follow the instructions on the screen.

3. After the installation of ECD, User Account control can be enabled again following the method described above.
